Emails and feedback coming back in had given the development team a few things to think about and fix for the next release which is being planned to be a big one.

Next version is hopefully gonna have a few big improvements including the date options working and a few new ideas.

Version 1.0.0.2 (15 June 2011)

Previous errors fixed

• Unix timestamp changed to human readable

skypehistory.sourceforge.net was set up

skypehistoryviewer.com was bought and registered

The published version was uploaded to SourceForge allowing anyone to download the software on the 16th June 2011 on the first day there were 41 downloads, the launch was announced on Twitter (click here to follow).

In the next couple of days other websites started appearing allowing people to download the software including Softpeida.com, softsea.com and brothersoft.com.

According to Softpedia over 150 people had downloaded it from there website. (196 people on 23rd July 2011)

On the 23rd July between SourceForge and Softpedia the software had been download over 500 times.

Plans for next version was to improve the programs feel and look, making it more solid and reliable and to make the website for skypehistoryviewer.com (still not completed).

Version 1.0.0.1 (6th June 2011)

Errors from previous blog were fixed. Tested and now installed and work on XP, Vista and 7.

Visual improvements were made and the software started to take shape. Text added explaining what each box was for making it easy for people to understand how it worked.

The software was put on the internet and a select few people were asked to test the software and give feedback (Thanks very much to you).

Errors and Feedback

• Timestamp in human readable format (was in Unix)
• Explain Export and Date selection was not possible
• Add some way of people could send to development team

Version 1.0.0.0 (01 June 2011)

Very simple look and feel to the program, no buttons menus or pictures just text boxes and data grid view to display the data.

Complied and tested on different computers and versions on Windows.

Errors -

• Would not installed on machines that did not have SQLite installed
• Displayed all Chat data no matter what dates where selected
